What is Jon's Health & Wellness Centre?
Jon’s private facility offers many of the same elements of a fully functioning gym, yet it is so much more than that. Our Health & Wellness Centre has more of an holistic approach with none of the hustle and bustle, or intimidation. A private training environment, providing not only mind blowing workouts and solution focused training but also education, advice and safety. A place where you can be focused on YOU!. Besides exercise, we focus on other key pillars for success – nutrition, mindset and support. Jon work’s on on a one to one or small group basis, so the focus is on each individual’s personal goals. Changing and toilet facilities are on site, along with top of the range fitness equipment, personalised training and meal plans, top to toe Health Assessments, easy access and free parking. You will have access to a unique, supportive, goal driven environment that is intense but not intimidating.
How is it different from a gym?
The main difference is that at a gym you are quite often left to your own devices with limited guidance and help, but at Jon’s Health & Wellness Centre you are under constant supervision and direction to maximize your time and effort. We want to provide a safe, comfortable, non-intimidating environment for all our clients, providing education, fun, motivation and results. Gyms typically like to have a long-term contract, direct debits and minimum contact with the members whereas we have cost effective, optional direct debits and maximal contact with our clients.
What is the difference between Small Group Personal Training and a Fitness Class?
The content of a Small Group Personal Training session could be different for each person in the group as they may have different goals and/or fitness levels. The content of a Fitness Class will be the same for everyone doing the class. The exercises can still be adapted for any injuries or the intensity level changed for different fitness levels.
What are the benefits of working with a Personal Trainer?
The benefits of having a personal trainer are seemingly endless, from accelerated results, fitting around your lifestyle and hugely cost effective in relation to a gym membership you may rarely or never use.
I have an injury, does that mean I can’t work out?
Jon has a background and experience in working with clients who have injuries / medical conditions and with carefully structured sessions and progressive exercise this is not a barrier. Jon can work alongside your medical or physiotherapy practitioner to ensure your recovering from an injury is effective both in the short and long term.
Can I try out your services before I commit to a membership package?
Yes. All though we don’t offer ” Pay As You Go ” options you are are more than welcome to enjoy a ONE OFF TASTER SESSION, or purchase a GUEST PASS ( £10 Small Group Training, £5 Health & Wellness or Junior sessions ). Contact us for more details and our latest PROMOTIONS.
How old do you have to be to become a member?
We cater for anyone over the age of 12. With the growing concerns over childhood obesity, Jon has a real passion for trying to help more kids “ get active “. Over the last 10 years or so he has worked with a number of schools and student organisations in an effort to not only get more kids active but also educate them on the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and keeping fit. These include Ratton School, Langney Primary School, Hailsham Community College, Jurgen Matheus, the University Of Brighton, Moira House and Eastbourne YMCA just to name a few. Please note that ALL Junior sessions will be conducted separately to adults
